Located in Comfort Texas, James Kiehl River Bend Park encompasses 25 acres along the Guadalupe River with an upper terrace for walking trails, picnic areas, a wildlife observation blind, and more. The lower terrace spans the entire length of the park with 1,634 feet of Guadalupe waterfront and is an ideal spot for swimming, fishing, and launching kayaks. Named after James Kiehl, who was raised in Comfort and fought in the Iraq War, James Kiehl River Bend Park serves as a memorial park to honor him and his service.
