ABOUT US

Our office is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for fire investigations, fire inspections, and fire code enforcement within the unincorporated areas of Kendall County.

Our goal is to provide Kendall County with effective leadership, coordination, and support for fire suppression and prevention programs, and to reduce life and economic losses due to fire and related emergencies and property losses from disasters.

The Fire Marshal works with all Kendall County Fire Chiefs and their departments to protect firefighters and evaluate fire and life safety issues. We provide FireHouse Software to six of the seven fire departments for fire reporting. The Fire Marshal coordinates the Quarterly Fire Chief's meeting, which is hosted by a different department on a rotating schedule. This office serves as the liaison between the Kendall County Commissioners Court and the seven fire departments that provide coverage in the unincorporated areas of Kendall County. We continue to work closely with the Boerne Police Department Dispatch Center and the County 911 system to ensure that proper information is available to notify the fire departments.
